The rooms were amazing, we each had a room with a balcony overlooking the Plaza Mayor. Breakfast was fabulous, the location was perfect, in the centre of the city close to great restaurants and tourist attractions.

The location is ideal for sight seeing and shopping. 2 minutes walk to Callao and Gran Via. Very close to Puerta del Sol too. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Cafe Varela downstairs highly recommended. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel and we will certainly return there on our next visit to Madrid. Room was very comfy and well equipped.

    Starting point for the tour.Beautiful city, people are positive and cheerful. Food is great. Big city that has a rich history and a new modern side. Definitely a city to visit and explore. Football fans also have a reason to come. Two beautiful stadiums, one near the airport (Metropolitan), and the other in the modern part of the city (Bernabéu).

    Beautiful and in a great neighborhood for walking and dining in the evening. Check out San Miguel Market nearby for a wonderful selection of tapas and drinks from many restauranteurs all under one rooof.

    All roads lead to Plaza Mayor.

    All roads lead to Plaza Mayor. Enjoy the ambience, wander around, take plenty of photos but do not buy anything. Over priced tourist tat. Do not be tempted to wander into any cafe, bar or restaurant - over priced and not the real Spain. Make an effort to go where the locals go and you'll see the difference. Great place, let the free tour guide tell you all about it.

    Magnificent Plaza.

    Magnificent Plaza. Just go get a cup of coffee and people watch for 2 hours. That's why I would do again and again. Great Architecture, great atmosphere, just a great place to watch the world go by.

    Great location. Close to plaza Mayor. 150m to tube station. Easy walking to all local sights. Very friendly staff in all areas including breakfast area. Breakfast amazing. Absolutely everything you could want plus eggs or omelette cooked fresh for you. Freshly squeezed juice too. Everywhere Very clean. Hotel has lovely character, charm and history. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Top marks for everything.

    The best choice in Madrid! The location is perfect, it takes just few minutes to reach Plaza Mayor or Palacio Real. Stuff (we were in touch with Eduardo) was super kind and helpful. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Hopefully we'll stay there again one time :-)

    The properly had all of the facilities needed, it was very clean, beds were comfy and the perfect location right next to Plaza Mayor & San Miguel market. We had a brilliant weekend and will defo talk be returning to Madrid & these apartments. Carolina the hostess was very professional and accommodating, there was a slight issue with the key on the first night we arrived so delayed getting into our room for 30 minutes or so, however resolved.

    Wonderful stay! Communication was excellent and very quick, which made everything so easy. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and perfectly prepared for us. Our kids loved it too, which says a lot! The location couldn’t be better – only a 5-minute walk to Sol and about 7 minutes to Plaza Mayor, even at a child’s pace. We would gladly recommend this apartment to anyone and would happily come back again.

    Madridcito is a super address to stay in Madrid. it is super close to the main city sights like Gran Via, Sol and the Plaza Mayor. For the LGBTQiA+ community Chueca is just around the corner. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The communication with the Hotel was very easy and always very helpful and friendly.

    The hostel is at the center of the city and just a walking distance from all the tourist spots in Madrid like the Plaza Mayor, San Gines, Gran Via, Plaza Sol and more. The hostel is also near the metro (subway) so there is no problem in getting to the hostel and traveling around the city. Their staff are also very much accommodating and friendly. We felt like home staying with them.

    We absolutely loved the hotel. It is a self-check-in hotel in the center of Madrid, close to the Gran Via (1 min walk) and the city center with the Plaza Mayor (10 min), as well as other sights. Although the staff is not always available (usually only in the mornings), they are super friendly, especially the lady who cleaned the rooms. The room is comfortable, with air conditioning, tv, and everything you need. Overall, the hotel is super recommendable.

The flea market was an experience, Calle Cava Baja for the tapas bars and cocktail bars was excellent, the Grad Via for shopping, Mercado de San Miguel for sampling the extraordinary cuisine...

  • Don't go to any of the "eat as much as you can".

    Don't go to any of the "eat as much as you can". It was the only tourist trap we encountered. North to Plaza Mayor street you'll find very good and fancy restaurants. South to this street you will find great othentic Spanish and south American restaurants and a little bit further you'll find real othentic and very good chinese restaurants.
