This hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. The room was lovely with a great view of the restaurants below. It was a minute to Gran Via. The room and hotel were spotlessly clean. Anything we needed was dealt with immediately. There was a complimentary mini bar in the room. We went for my partner's 60th Birthday and on the evening of his Birthday we had a knock at the door and were given a small bottle of champagne and chocolates for him. It was a lovely touch. We had breakfast booked in their restaurant Cafe Varela there was a great choice it all seemed very fresh and the staff were all lovely. There was one lady there whose name I sadly did not get but every morning in the restaurant she greeted you with a great smile and a good morning. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel we had a fabulous stay there and would definitely stay there again if we return to Madrid.

Football fans also have a reason to come. Two beautiful stadiums, one near the airport (Metropolitan), and the other in the modern part of the city (Bernabéu).

    All roads lead to Plaza Mayor.

    All roads lead to Plaza Mayor. Enjoy the ambience, wander around, take plenty of photos but do not buy anything. Over priced tourist tat. Do not be tempted to wander into any cafe, bar or restaurant - over priced and not the real Spain. Make an effort to go where the locals go and you'll see the difference. Great place, let the free tour guide tell you all about it.

    Magnificent Plaza.

    Magnificent Plaza. Just go get a cup of coffee and people watch for 2 hours. That's why I would do again and again. Great Architecture, great atmosphere, just a great place to watch the world go by.

    The location of the Liabeny was great. On the small Plaza del Carmen with multiple eateries and only one block off the Grand Via. We easily walked to the Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, El Retiro Park and more. Taxis are very readily available at the hotel if needed, but it's also very close to the metro. Nice little bar downstairs and a full restaurant, though there are a thousand places to eat within a half mile. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a great, comfortable bed.

    Location, service, cleanliness, staff. All was great :) The hotel is close proximity to Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, Sol metro station, Palacio Real, El Corte Inglés, Callao metro station and many amenities I. Madrid. The staff is great, Gigi is very helpful and all people in general. I can call this place my second home in Madrid, because I’ll always go back.

    This apartment is right in the heart of Chueca. Close to several Metro stations, and an easy 5 minute walk to Grand Via and less than 15 minutes to Plaza Mayor. The apartment was fantastic! Comfortable beds, convenient layout, great showers, (free) access to a washer and dryer. And the living area was spacious and comfortable. Electronic door locks gave a great self check-in option and convenient access. We will happily return on our next trip to Madrid!
