Very good food, good selection on menu despite being Oct & fewer tourists . Staff / owners / hosts extremely nice, kind, helpful, offered a different bedroom on other side of the hotel because the cattle had been moved to a field beside the hotel just before we arrived as they were concerned that the bells on the cattle would disturb our sleep - the cattle did not disturb us at all (even the light sleeper who wakes at almost everything). We were made to feel very welcome. Owners even lent us walking poles & refused our attempts to pay for the pole we damaged. Simply couldn’t have been better hosts. Stunning views of Picos de Europa. Peaceful, beautiful location. Would definitely stay here again & stay for longer. Exceeded expectations.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Wasn't too busy so we had a room to ourselves. The staff were extremely nice and were helpful in giving us lots of recommendations. The garden is really nice and a great place to have dinner or lunch. The bathrooms are well-equipped and are kept very clean. The location is very good, a beautiful town that is very close to the picos de europa (you can get the bus to fuente de to get the cable car).

We’ve stayed in a lot of apartments with booking.com but this really is one of the best. Modern, well equipped and in the old town - perfect for a few days stay.

    Buying a ticket in advance means you can queue near the...

    Buying a ticket in advance means you can queue near the front until your time. If you have someone in your party that doesn’t want to walk uphill there is still a lovely walk from the top of the cable car back down to the bottom with a lovely cafe half way. It probably takes 2-3 hours but still a nice way to drift downhill back to where you started.

    Fantastic, well organized.

    Fantastic, well organized. Buy your ticket for €24 return in advance to get the time slot you want. It takes only 4minutes drive to get up with a cabin that fits ca 20 people. Beside the cable car is a nice Cafe and tourist information.
