The location was perfect. There were great restaurants nearby and the subway is extremely convenient. the hotel was very quiet and the mattress was the most comfortable I've ever slept on

Friendly staff brightened our stay in Paris. They were always kind and smilling: Maria Teresa and Laurent "YSL" and... sorry for not remembering others. It was my birthday and we got 2 rooms with fabulous view to Sorbone university. And veryyyy important, that hotel is located in very good and family friendly area. We were feeling safe to walk around when got dark. The location was just perfect. Not on the busy street, so we could sleep. Beds very comfy. Rooms were large enough. Interior was great, as in the official pictures. After reading hundreds of reviews, in many places you can find way worse rooms than advertised. Close to everything: 22min walk to Louvre, 5min to Pantheon, 10 min to Notre Dame, 25 min to Jardin de Plantes (3 fab museums for kids and adults - dinosaurs, minerals, evolution), close to affordable restaurants, close to metro. 10 min by taxi to Montparnasse tower. 5min walk to Luxembourg Gardens. 6min for €9 by taxi to Line13 metro if you are arriving from St Deni University (from Beauvais Airport). My brother arrived from De Gaulle airport, so he just walked few minutes from the stop. And if you download Bolt app, you can travel in Paris at low cost from this great hotel. Communication via messages or direct emails to their website was very smooth. So... Thank you for everything dear Select Team! You gave us such a warm welcome! Our time at Hôtel La Conversation was amazing! We stayed for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised to get a free upgrade to a Superior Room when we checked in. Fresh from a renovation, the hotel boasts an interior design that was nothing short of a masterpiece, with a tasteful selection of colors and materials. The room was big, cozy, and felt like home, especially with all the plants around, complete with a bed that promised dreams sweeter than Parisian pastries. Speaking of pastries, the hotel offers a complimentary supply of high-quality coffee/tea and croissants. By the way, the crepes with maple syrup at breakfast were delicious! We also want to give a special thanks to the housekeeping staff, whose hard work and attention to detail made our room a spotless and welcoming space every day. As a girl, I also enjoyed the little extras like a powerful hairdryer, soft towels, and good-smelling toiletries. Even though the hotel is a bit away from the city center, it was easy to get there by metro from the Convention station which is a 12-minute walk from the hotel. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We liked coming back to a quiet place after a day out in the busy city. A wonderful place to stay in Paris. We hope it keeps doing well and brings joy to many more travelers, especially with the Olympics coming up.
