We were happy just going to the tower and not going up in it. There are several other places around town to get good views of Paris. Check out the night view of the tower from the Trocodero. What an amazing structure .. we did a skip the line tour , which was fine. Save your money , don’t buy the tiny plastic flute of champagne at the top. And don’t buy anything in the gift shop…everything is way overpriced.
