Every famous designer you can think of is here and it doesn’t disappoint. Plus, there are a whole lot of sellers with recycled designer clothing all together on one floor (womens clothing) - I found loads of things here at a fraction of the new prices. I booked a Galleries Lafayette “Experience” where you go to the Concierge Desk on the day of your visit and get 4 star treatment for the whole time you’re in the store. They offer you coffees, teas, snacks or sweets every time you return to one of their special rooms during your shopping expeditions, give you a voucher for either a savoury lunch or a sweet treat and then you keep shopping till you’re done (or done in), and then offer you champagne or other drinks (which you can also have any time during the day). Do not miss it, pricey but you can find bargains. Make sure that you visit all of its departments, mainly the wine and food and the main gallery. There is a cafeteria in the main gallery, the one pictured here, where you can choose your steak cook to order. Excellent location in the 2nd arrondisement being only a 15-minute walk to the Louvre and 20-minute walk to Galeries Lafayette. Lots of great, delicious food options in the area. Room was well-kept and clean and had more than enough space for my husband and I. It was lovely to see Paris from the top floor of a Parisian home. The location is excellent: with two different metro lines nearby, it was very easy to reach all the main tourist attractions.
