Everything was lovely and fresh with a good range of food. I noticed that fairly small amounts were set out and constantly replenished which is better than lots of food sitting out for a long time. Only negative point was the coffee etc from the self service machine was not great. These machines always seem to confuse people and must lead to a lot of waste. Location was great - just across the road from the Railway Station and a few minutes from two tram lines but also a short walk to the old town centre.

Renovated in 2021, Hotel Royal is located in the centre of Montpellier, just a 3-minute walk from the Montpellier Train Station and Place de la Comedie.

Very nice room with a lot of space. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is also perfect. Close to the train station and to the pedestrian area.
