On the back way from Mont St.Michel with last minutes we had chosen this place for a last night in Normandy. Came to the hotel very late, around midnight, and was worrying that can have some issues at that you.e with accommodation. But was everything perfect, reception working 24, at your disposal even any drinks of some snacks anytime. Room was cozy, clean and comfy, there is a kettle and tea/coffee stuff if needs without going to reception. Located in center of the city from where within 35 mts you can reach by transport the sea cost or some sights. Very satisfied and advise.

We decided on this hotel at the last minute, because after a complication with another accommodation, we needed accommodation for a few days at that moment.. The hotel is a bit more expensive, but, we do not regret that we decided on this hotel. The rooms are newer, spacious and clean. A hotel in a great location, close to the beaches of Normandy - Omaha, Utah, Juno... and close to all the attractions, close to the city of Bayeun and of course just a stone's throw from Caen. Breakfast was great! At breakfast, there was fresh, still warm bread and several types of baked goods. A coffee machine is also available free of charge throughout the day, as well as lemonade and water.

Located in the historical town of Caen in the Basse-Normandie Region, Hôtel François d’O offers a garden, terrace and library. It is just a 25-minute drive to the beach.
