My wife says this is the best live music event she has ever...
My wife says this is the best live music event she has ever been to , and she raves about the gymnastics routines on roller skates , interpretive dance . She raves about the costumes the feathers, the sequinned bras . The food was first class too. Lots of the ladies in the audience dress up a bit, quite a few long dresses and high heels, but many ladies were in tourist clothes. The men of course look like bags of spuds tied up with string, but there were at least two gents in tuxedoes and a handful of suits. Did I mention that there were lots of bosoms on display? Wonderful to immerse me in the lives of the impressionists! I actually saw the scenes (dance place, cafes) that Renoir and others painted. Got a walking tour from a tour book that really helped. I also really enjoyed the museum there which used to be the gathering place of the impressionists and the musicians. One of the most overrated things in Paris. Definetely doesn't worth its money and with very unpolite staff, very low music without energy at all and only a couple of dancers worth it. You are sitting in uncomfortable chairs and tables with strangers and without the option to choose by yourseld where to sit, but leaving it up to the preference of the unpolite staff. While the hotel itself is a little dated, it really added to the charm and prestige of being in Paris. We could walk to the Louvre in about 30 minutes, and the Opera House, Moulin Rouge, and Montmartre in around 20. The breakfasts at nearby cafés were absolutely to die for!
