Unique, artsy decor in the hotel, very beautiful pool and garden. Great for relaxing and getting some relief from the heat. Location is wonderful, lots of lovely dining options nearby. The hotel owners/ operators were pleasant. Bedding and bath products felt high quality.

I thought this was the best location in all of Avignon. The shops right next to the hotel were great and it was just behind all the tourist chaos but close enough that if you walk a minute or two, you’re in all of the hustle and bustle which we loved. Cannot recommend this historic enough! Great size!

What a beautiful hotel ! The colors and decor were so warm and welcoming and comfortable to lounge in the chairs . Lucas at the reception saves my life . I had forgotten the TSA code of my suitcase and he came into the room and with a smile and a little help of Google ( lol) was able to unlock . He was so calming repeating not to worry everything will be okay ... He was not only ready to try to resolve a problem but also resolved it. A future leader and we wish him lots of luck in his carrière in the hôtellerie .

    The film explaining the history of this iconic bridge is worth sitting through and you will probably need a break from the sun. Beautiful views from the bridge and if you are very lucky a group of passing toursits will dance for you as they did when we were there.

    The best spot to take an outstanding photo is to go to the Island on the other side of the river at the sunset time and from there it is perfect to take a photo of the bridge and the City of the Popes.

    We absolutely LOVED au fil de l’eau. It was clean and comfortable, centrally located and just a short walk to the Avignon Centre train station and to the Palais des Papes and the Pont d’Avignon. The apartment was stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The owners, Pascal and Marisol, were charming and very welcoming. We highly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone who is considering staying in Avignon. We can’t wait to return!

    Gracious host in a very convenient location. Beautiful 3 story stones home , only 6 bedrooms, on a small street. Delicious breakfast, homemade yogurt and jams, local cheese and bread, fresh orange juice and fruits, crepes on Sunday. Walking distance to the beautiful Palais des Papes, Pont d’Avignon, farmers market, restaurants! Parc your car outside the walled city and forget about driving. We did the historic tour on the touristic train.
