Hotels near Sarlat-la-Canéda Train Station, Sarlat-la-Canéda

Clean, bright , modern hotel in an old building in an excellent location. Good breakfast available as well as a bar and a nice little sitting area. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. They offered alternative arrangements for visiting various interesting sites. Marina , in particular, went the extra mile to find a great, affordable driver to take us to the gardens and some small villages. This was a great way to see these places which would have been otherwise impossible to visit.

We were 2 couples, old friends, one American and one French on a road trip. We used this hotel as our base for 6 nights in the Dordogne as it not far from most of the sites we intended on visiting. We were extremely happy with our stay, starting with our hostess, Anne Marie, who gave us a warm welcome and was especially helpful with recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, even making reservations for us. Our rooms were spotless, nicely sized with beautiful bathrooms and separate toilets. We had a lovely terrace and a view of the grounds. It was too cold to go swimming but the pool looked very inviting. The breakfasts (not included but fairly priced) were very good with lots of choices. We chose this hotel as it seemed to be a calm oasis to relax in after sightseeing and we were not disappointed. This was the by far the best place we stayed in during our 3 week trip in France.

It was pretty amazing being in a refurbished castle. The staff were excellent, everyone we met was so kind and the rooms were impeccably cleaned every day. The pool was an absolute bonus, especially on the hot days we had! Right in the heart of Sarlat too so easy to walk everywhere.

The hosts were exceptionally kind and generous, the room perfect and breakfast was delicious!! Excellent location and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous pool. 8 minute walk to the centre of town.
