This place is fantastic. Gorgeous grounds, lovely food and... Peacocks. We were upgraded to a bigger room as we were celebrating a birthday, and also got some chocolates and a handwritten card signed by all the staff! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

This is a lovely old inn to stay in. The food here was exceptionally good. All staff were very friendly and helpful. It is in the heart of old town and thats what we like to see. It is a bit of a distance from the train and our bus ride to Heathrow the day we left.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was large and clean & food in the pub was excellent! You'll need to book in the evenings, but you can eat in the bar area as well. We didn't prebook breakfast, but ended up easting there every morning anyway as it was so good.
