Very friendly and competent staff, clean and comfortable room, very central and still quiet location. Stylish and tastefully decorated property. I found my home from home. Next time will stay again at The Ampersand Hotel!

Our hotel of choice, when staying in central London. So close to St James Park (squirrel cuteness overload!), to the Mall, to Buckingham Palace, to the theatres, to Piccadilly, Oxford, Regent Street, to Trafalgar, the shops, museums... It's very practical. The staff is very efficient and courteous, and our room was very comfortable (we would have preferred a bathtub, though). The breakfast menu is good, but nothing out of the ordinary. We never tried the afternoon tea because we had other plans. Highly recommended and we'll be back in December for some more theatre-time and to enjoy the Christmas decorations.
