Wonderful old building which we visited several years ago...
Wonderful old building which we visited several years ago just for a special old fashioned music evening event, sort of medieval theme. So we only visited part of this huge property. Unfortunately current entrance price is out of my price range as on tiny pension, although apparently it allows you to visit unlimited times for a year after purchase. so I suppose good value.Guest review byNickUnited Kingdom

Two bedrooms upstairs with Jack and Jill bathroom and second shower room downstairs. Well appointed kitchen. Garden with bbq and table/chairs/bench at lower level. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay with the added bonus of a private parking space, so great for coming and going with the car when we drove out to Burghley House and Rutland Water. We have always stayed in hotels, but it is something we would try again. We enjoyed the set up with everything you would need, separate kitchen, outdoor dining, fire pit (if you needed it) and jacuzzi (costume required) set in their beautiful home garden.
