Get the tickets for the VIP Bar/Room in the attic!

Get the tickets for the VIP Bar/Room in the attic! Unique and intimate setting for a welcome drink from the nicest old school barman who also had drinks/ice cream ready in intermission time. We had tickets for Agatha Christie’s Mouse Trap 70th anniversary/120 years Opera House and the VIP attic room was the icing on the cake for this special event! But it’s quite a climb and not recommended for people with mobility issues.

My favourite in the UK, after the Royal Opera House.

My favourite in the UK, after the Royal Opera House. Acoustically perfect - there are no 'bad' seats, although, of course some are more comfortable than others. I recommend anything from 5 rows back in the stalls, and anything in the dress circle or upper circle. The gallery is fine, if no other seats are available, because of the superb acoustics, but the seats are hard. Maybe take a cushion if you have seats up there.

Location is great for Buxton Opera House and the many cafes and restaurants nearby Car parking is problematic unless you want to pay the valet parking fee. Breakfast is average.

Excellent welcome from Wal when we arrived to leaving. Choice of breakfast was very good albeit vegetarian, but lots to choose from and plenty of it. Bed very comfortable and room lovely with extras like water. 10 minute walk from Buxton Opera house and town. Thank you - will certainly recommend.

The hotel is in a great location and is only a short walk into Buxton. We left the car there and went on foot to explore the town. It is close to a wide range of restaurants, pubs and shops as well as being close to Buxton Opera House, where we went to, to go and see a show. Breakfast is a buffet style and contains plenty of choices from yoghurts and cereals to a full English breakfast.

It was within easy walking distance of Buxton Opera House where we attended twice during our stay. Communications by email were very easy and responsive even if issues couldn’t be resolved. Beds were comfortable and decor was tastefully done. Water is very hot and immediate.

We chose this hotel because it offered off street parking. The hotel is clean, the white fluffy towels and bedding were exceptional. Sharon served us a super full English breakfast, a lovely friendly lady. Good peaceful location overlooking the Pavilion Gardens yet it is right in the middle of things, only a 2minutes walk to the Buxton Opera House.

This was a fantastic location for the town centre and within a stones throw of Buxton Opera House. The apartment was exceptional. It was an immaculate, very bright spacious two-bedroomed apartment which was beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest of standards including parking. I felt really spoilt upon arrival when I discovered drinks, cakes and lots of other lovely thoughtful touches to welcome me.

The property was perfect, Immaculate and beautifully furnished. The location is central across the road from the Buxton opera house and we found free parking only around the corner. Everything you could wish for. I do prefer apartments to hotels and this certainly didn’t disappoint. Thank you for the lovely biscuits, Prosecco and milk in the fridge very thoughtful and the roses. It’s the little jesters that mean a lot. We will definitely return.
