Chester Cathedral was the most welcoming cathedral I visited...

Chester Cathedral was the most welcoming cathedral I visited. It’s absolutely beautiful, with stunning details and several lovely spaces to explore. The people there were incredibly kind and hospitable. There’s also a café, clean restrooms, and a charming garden and park at the back — perfect for a quiet rest or a snack. It was the first attraction I visited in Chester, and I liked it so much that I returned again at the end of the day.

    An amazing building.

An amazing building. Great tranquillity away from its busier days and times. Good place to pause and reflect - away from the many temples and stalls of Mammon!! Loved attending Choral Evensong (with visiting choir) and a couple of secular concerts - all atmospheric.

Location, location, location! Fantastic location right down the street from the beautiful Chester Cathedral. Walk across the street to the Chester Market for multiple dining options and cool gifts. The layout and decor of the apartment is nice and welcoming. The hosts were great and responded to messages very quickly.
