I attended an afternoon tea birthday party and from the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional, friendly, down to earth and that was every single staff member. The grounds are beautiful and well worth exploring. I decided to stay the night rather than a long drive home in the evening and again, the room was perfectly presented with everything that I needed plus more. Cleanliness was superb and the view from the room was wonderful. Excellent shower.

My husband and I came for an overnight stay with our golden retriever. The room was very comfortable and clean. The setting was absolutely beautiful, a lovely coffee shop across the road selling cakes and ice cream with an outdoor seating area. A fabulous walk alongside the stream which brings you out at a lovely shop and Cafe, with amazing scenery along the way. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal at the Inn and a gorgeous breakfast. Sheep wondering around grazing on the lawn infront of the pub what more could you ask for? 😃

Coniston Water

The fells around Coniston—one of England’s largest lakes—go over a hillside's rough face, so expect a workout for both you and your four-legged friend. Start in the village and pass Church Beck waterfall to be surrounded by greenery, then climb your way further up the fells. After getting to Low Water, there’s a steep climb to tackle before you’re awarded with awesome hill views!

Just breathtaking.

Just breathtaking. We are so blessed in this country to have so much amazing countryside, scenery, coastline and history. It's obviously an amazing place to walk, but you can't miss the scenery from almost any point, whether a good window or transport.
