    Location, location, location. Definitely understated what a perfect location this is. Short drive to isle of skye (btw brilliant, but not outdone by other Scottish country scenery!). But the real gem was the 100m walk to eilean donan castle. This was not just holiday accommodation but a family home opened up to guests. This made it special and very comfortable to be in.

    A wonderful house located near Eilean Donan Castle, just before entering the Isle of Skye. The owner was amazing, and the house was equipped with top-quality appliances and everything we could need. We had an absolutely delightful stay.

    This place is truly amazing and we loved our stay here. You're basically right next to the Eilean Donan castle (5min walk) and have several other places to visit near-by. The house is very comfortable and spacious, we wished we could have taken the kitchen and bath home with us :)

    The house was lovely and cosy. Had everything you needed in kitchen for self catering. All the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. Lovely views over Loch Long right outside the house. Cuillan Mountains, Eilean Donan Castle about 5min walk. Short walk to the Clachan Pub for meals. Hosts easy to contact. Definitely going back for a longer stay

    I had several family members staying at the hotel for my daughter's wedding at the Eilean Donan Castle. They all said that it was perfectly comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I did eat there with them on one other night and the food was really good.

    Perfect in every way. I really can’t imagine a better holiday cottage. Clean, comfortable, great facilities including en-suite bathroom in our bedroom. Dining table with fresh flowers! - lounge has TV with Iplayer etc. Location is superb - really quiet yet just 1 minute’s drive from the main road to Skye, Plockton, Glenelg, Torridon etc. Also it is a lovely short walk from the doorstep to Eilean Donan Castle and The Clachan pub.

    The house was modernized and comfortable, everything you needed was there. The check in was smooth and easy. The location was wonderful. We enjoyed being able to walk to Eilean Donan castle. We could also see Eilean Donan lit up at night, reflecting on the loch. You could walk across the bridge to the local pub. There was a fabulous cafe across the road which changed to a pizzeria at night. We had a lovely stay at the Sheiling in Dornie. Would definitely recommend!
