I was upgraded to the Chapel Room so called as it used to serve as such to the previous owners of the property The Sisters of Mercy . What can I say … a one of a kind room . The Cookie Jar possesses that understated surety of class which is self contained but evident throughout the fabric of the building and the professionalism of the staff .

Had a great trip on Serenity from Seahouses out to the Farne Islands. Can recommend this boat for its cleanliness, friendly staff and informative narrative on the seabird breeds on the island and how to recognise the different breeds. We were also given information and got up quite close to the seals as they lay resting.

Did 2 trips with Serenity boats. 1st around Inner Farne Islands then on to Lindisfarne. Great day out, wrap up warm, mist came over so a bit cold but saw lots of birds including Puffins, seals and dolphins on way back. Loved this trip so then went on trip to land on Inner Farne Islands, awesome, got so close to Puffins, got lots of photos.

Wear a hat if you are landing as the Terns peck your head if they can. Wear warm clothing for the boat trip as it can get very cold and wet. The sight of all the different birds fishing or returning with their catch. Check out the seals,if you are very lucky you might see a couple of Dolphins.See the Lighthouse where Grace Darling rowed their boat from to rescue all those people,a special lady, very brave!!.

The house was in the beautiful town of Sea houses, which had real character and amenities. It was easy to travel to the Farne islands from here. The house was in a very convenient location, pretty much in the heart of the town. The host kept in touch and responded promptly to an issue. The house was very clean, tidy and kitchen was well stocked. We had a very comfortable stay.

Location is exactly what I wanted. Close to the center with its amenities, A stones throw from one of the best beaches in England and the Farne Islands for a view. The Hotel itself has everything you could need for a perfect base. All of the staff I dealt with were extremely friendly and professional.

What an amazing location for this hotel, looking straight out over the sea to the Farne Islands! And a five minute walk to all the amenities of Seahouses with the lovely bars, shops, restaurants and beaches. Hotel was lovely and clean, very well furnished. Bar area was very nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A lovely breakfast set us up for our day in Northumberland. All very pleasant, would certainly stay again and for longer next time. We don't have a dog but was very dog Friendly.

We took the Serenity Boat Tour to the Farne Islands and saw Puffins, Cormorants, Gulls and others in huge flocks. We even saw Dolphins who followed our boat for a while. It was simply amazing. Andrew was our skipper and made the experience a 10/10.
