The Location was unbeatable! Just minutes from South Ken Station and lots of cafés and restaurants and the Museums! The Staff, especially Jerry The Doorman, were always smiling and super sweet. Rooms were really comfy and the complimentary mini bar was great too! A small touch like fresh milk and biscuits every day really meant a lot! The Double Glazed windows meant that even though we stayed on the ground floor, not a peep of the traffic came in (except maybe the odd Police siren). Overall it was a super enjoyable and comfortable experience staying at The Ampersand! Hope we get rooms when we come back in. June!!

I am not afraid to say this is the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect, as you expect to see from the pictures. The experience is sublime, from the glass of Champagne at the Check In, to the room, the bar and beyond. Room was very gracious and a bit bigger if compared to London City Centre standards. Top quality facilities (from GHD hairdryer to the Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods and a beautiful Seletti kettle. Complimentary water and Coca-Cola (among other) are in the room at the check in. It was also very nice to find a handwritten card to welcome you in the room, which came along with some fresh macaroon. Staff is impeccable and they are there to fulfil every needing and wishes. Location is of course one of the top feature of the place (in less than one minute walking you're in Oxford Street). Will come back for sure.

    The location is great. Close to Kensington Garden and Hyde park. Few minutes away from Lancaster Gate (Central line) and less then 10 minutes away from Paddington( Bakerloo, Circle, District, Elizabeth, railway...) metro stations. Several buses close by as well. The bathroom was clean, the apartment was equipped with a toaster, kettle, fridge, iron and a hairdryer.

    Only a short walk to Kensington Gardens and Palace. From there we could walk to Albert Hall, Hyde Park, the lake and so much more. The other direction from hotel took us to Portobello market. The room on 3rd floor had a street view so plenty of light and lots to see. Room size and facilities were good and shops close by for provisions.

    I was very lucky to have booked this hotel in the first week it was opened, so I was one of the very first guests and the rate was substantially discounted. It's a lovely boutique hotel, very centrally located in Kensington. I had an amazing stay and really love the co-working area and the breakfast.

    This Executive studio apartment is perfectly located just a short walk from South Kensington tube stop, easy walk to the Kings Rd shops/Sloane Square/Pavillion Rd and a minute to a supermarket. The studio apartment itself has everything you need for a short stay, was in pristine condition and sparkling clean. It was well suited to a work visit to London. The staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful.

    My suggestion is to keep away from pubs in the centre of the city since each pint will cost you around 5 pounds.For example , little further like the pub ''The famous 3 kings'' located in Kensington offer good beer for 3,5 pounds for pint.So for 10 pounds you could drink one extra pint which can really make a big difference on how your ''good drunk mood '' can be :) Also try some homemade beers from pubs , they are usually good ( by good i mean they are really easy to drink and they dont have some very specific taste) If you look for something more exotic , you can always ask the barmen.They can be very friendly.
