We really liked staying at Knockendarroch. The hotel is located in a gorgeous, historical building on top a hill, offering great views of the Pitlochry area. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There plenty of parking on the premises. The hotel offers great breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of options to pick from. We also had our dinners at the hotel restaurant as well. The dinner was delicious as well. Each day, there is a different dinner menu (appetizer, main and dessert). We tried several items. We really liked venison, lamb and pork roulette. Pitlochry and the area offer a lot of great place to explore. Other further away sights, Balmoral, Perth or St Andrews, are easily reachable on a day trip.

A beautiful place to start our adventures in the Highlands! Iris and Jack have taken a beautiful but old country house and injected it with new vitality while respecting the history of the manor and surroundings. Beautifully decorated, the highlight for me is the library bar (and the overwhelmingly amazing selection of Scotch) and watching the football match on the big screen in the gathering space. My only regret is that we didn't book more nights - but we'll be back!

Best overnight stay we have had in ages, lovely hotel, gorgeous decor, comfy bar area and pretty outside terrace for drinks if the sun appears. Breakfast was a delicious treat which we didn’t expect but thoroughly enjoyed. Will return without hesitation soon.

Apartment was easy to find and perfectly located, close to all amenities and great walks but just out of town so nice and quiet. Really clean and well stocked with lovely hospitality pack on arrival. We went on an 18km walk direct from.apartment out to Killiecrankie and back around Loch Faskally...stunning! Lovely food and drinks at The Mill Inn, lots of great beer gardens and eateries!
