    Thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour, and thought it reasonable value for money. The views from the top were excellent, though on a wet and windy day might not be quite so good. Also found the history of the building and its construction interesting.

    This hotel has just changed ownership but as far as we were concerned so far so good! Got a room on the 8th floor with a view (and what a view!). Right on the waterfront opposite the Liver Building and a few minutes walk from Moorfields railway station. The bed was enormous and comfortable, the room spacious with air con and a safe, (and nice toiletries). Friendly staff and I can recommend the cocktails served in the terrace bar on floor two. Can't wait to go back.

    The hotel is fantastically located near the water front near to the Liver building. 3 quicklifts to the floors. Nice bar area and if not hammering down with rain you could enjoy outside with fantastic views. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 for £25 small bar snacks were very good.

    I booked very late and it was a bank holiday weekend, so I wasn't expecting the best of rooms. However, I could see the Mersey from my bed! There was absolutely no traffic noise because I looked out onto a pedestrian area. It was within easy walking distance of the Albert dock and the Liver Building.
