Lovely rural pub with comfortable rooms out the back. Great food. Great beer. Great rooms each with an external door, small living room and bedroom upstairs. Great location under Pendle Hill. Good breakfast available at the pub across the road.

Why isnt there a rating for 10+? I, head of the family walked in and all I kept saying was WOW!!! The cottage was immaculate and had EVERYTHING you could imagine..and more! Even though there is a pub next door, it was quiet. The walk up Pendle hill is not for the faint hearted, and I didn't attempt it but the photos my family took were amazing! Stunning quaint cottage, full of character. The views from the cottage and on walks are stunning. I loved it and want to go back. I WILL go back!

This cottage was perfect for our mini break. Fantastic views over Pendle Hill. We had everything we needed. Anne our host was excellent, she kept in touch throughout and was easy to contact at all times. The cottage was very clean and we simply loved it.

A little gem. We had a nice relaxing time. Lovely property in a nice spot. It’s not secluded but feels like it is. We climbed Pendle hill and walked the witches trails, so the hot tub was a very welcoming evening self care. Will definitely come again.

We loved the location and the fresh clean cosy feel. We always usually find something that’s not been cleaned but this place was immaculate. It was so close to Pendle hill and barley, Also convenient for loads of other things too. Booths is a two minute walk which was so so handy. The lounge Could do with a poof for the couch to pop feet on to make more comfy but that’s just personal preference. Parking was great too.

The cottage was exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed to a luxurious level. Imagination and flair were evident in every regard. Simon kindly allowed us to check-in a little early, thereby facilitating our aim to climb Pendle Hill that same day ( from the doorstep !) The cottage location was novel and interesting. A local parking permit was included for roadside parking, almost adjacent.

The location, the history & folklore of the area, the cosiness, very high standard finish & home from home feeling of the beautiful property. We were so comfortable, happy & content. The log burner is brilliant & adds real charm. All round wonderful stay in a stunning property in a fantastic location. Pendle Hill & the sculpture trail are lovely. Also lots of pretty walks nearby.
