Staff were lovely on arrival and helpful, the family rooms were alot bigger than we expected, the showers are so powerful which was nice. We were there for a party which was only downstairs so it was convenient, bar staff were lovely during that also. Breakfast was good in the morning too.

Customer service was exceptional. The nicest receptionist from Portugal, and a special mention for Irene, who was so lovely making sure I knew where and when food was available, plug sockets for my laptop and plentiful tea and biscuits when I had to get some work done after checkout. Room was huge with sofa and very comfy bed. Bath and powerful shower - not the most modern bathroom but well equipped and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was brilliant. Plenty of room around the hotel, lovely setting. I didn’t use the pool / sauna etc so can’t comment on this. I would definitely recommend.

Just 10 minutes from Wigan centre, Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel offers delicious breakfasts. With free parking, the hotel is 12 miles from Bolton.

Lovely clean, modern property. Great location with the train station 3 minutes away and easy access to motorways for days out to Blackpool, Liverpool etc. Take aways in the village were super.
