This place exceeded my expectations! The apartment was super spacious, comfy, and stylish. Many details contribute to a special atmosphere: vintage furniture, huge windows, chandeliers, a fireplace, and many more. The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you're planning a long stay, there is everything you need to make it comfy. The location is just near the castle, adding extra value to this place. Also thanks to all the team for being so friendly and guest-oriented.

The Scott Monument allows for people to climb up to its two...

The Scott Monument allows for people to climb up to its two viewpoints, but the circular staircases grow narrower as you climb, so it's not for people of all sizes. The views from the two levels, especially the top, are absolutely breathtaking.

    Bigger than I expected.

Bigger than I expected. Interesting that it was built for under £20k but cost millions to restore it. Good views of Princes Street and the city from the top. Can get very busy. Not for anyone who struggles with stairs!

Perfectly positioned. We were upgraded to room 568 I think and was superb with twin beds if you wanted. View to the Scott monument and castle. Water every morning. The breakfasts were smashing and plentiful. Anna is still there (which is a plus) and charges around her domain making sure everything runs properly. The check in was fast and friendly.
