Is my home town went to the castle often with my school this town is steeped in history and I know it all thanks to this wonderful teacher Mr Moss who would conduct our history lessons out and about the town. Lovely castle with beautifully kept gardens dating back to Norman times, although it's been remodelled a lot over the centuries. There are lots of stone steps in the castle, which can be difficult for some. There's not much of a castle atmosphere once you're inside, it's more of a military museum.
