The beautiful ambience of the hotel reminds you of a period from long time ago. The view from my room was towards the garden and the neighborhood park. I could stare outside all day long.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at reception. Very clean and comfortable room. The location was great - just around the corner from The Pantiles and walking distance to the train station (though note it's uphill).

The room was so comfortable and the spa facilities were very welcome after Al long trip. Breakfast started before I needed to leave but they were kind enough to bring me an early continental breakfast Close enough to Gatwick to make it an enjoyable one night stay shutout being too far away.

The Hand & Sceptre by Innkeeper's Collection has been fully refurbished in 2023, each room has a Hypnos bed with mattress topper, flat-screen TV, desk and is furnished in a modern design.

A beautiful, characteristic English inn. Spacious and comfortable dining room with a beautiful terrace. Comfortable rooms, country style but modern. Tasty breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect atmosphere to wind down. Incredible value for money.

We had an excellent breakfast at the hotel, included in the price of the room. There was a choice between continental, full English and dishes likes pancakes with maple syrup. We stayed in room 17, a deluxe (large) family room. The beds were very comfortable. A spacious and clean shower with perfect water pressure. Plenty of soft towels. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. The kids liked the huge tv. Besides coffee (Nespresso machine!) and tea facilities there were also 3 bottles of mineral water and glasses in the room, was a nice touch. Very friendly staff.
