Excellent location, clean spacious rooms, extremely friendly host. As a rule, check in is at 10 p.m., the host was waiting for us at 2 am in the morning, because we were late and she also offered us free parking to leave our car for couple days while we are in Athos. Thank you very much.

The position of the hotel is on a hill, as a result it's always a bit windy and fresh. There is a free parking on the street. There was a beautiful view on the Tower of Ouranopolis and the sea. It's very close to a public beach and just a couple of km to the nearest bar beach. There are many other beaches around. The hotel is also close to Ouranopolis on a walking distance with sidewalk for almost the whole time. The place is quiet and pet friendly as well as the nearest beach. In Ouranopolis there are shops and restaurants and you can go on a daily cruise to the islands of Ammouliani and Drena. The staff is helpful and the rooms are cleaned every two days. Towels are changed very frequently. It's absolutely an awesome experience!

Hotel Makedonia is located in the centre of Ouranoupolis, just 100 metres from the gates of Mount Athos and 60 metres from the nearest beach.
