I thought this hotel was a magical place to stay. We were lucky enough to have booked 3 nights and my wife and I both thought it was a wonderful experience! I liked everything about the hotel, the room, the friendly staff, the museum ambience, the space of the grounds, the heated outdoor pool, the food….

We highly recommend Hotel Candelaria! Not only was it really beautiful, the room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious, but also the staff went above and beyond to help us with whatever issue we had! The transfer from the airport went smoothly, they called museums and travel agencies for us to book tours and shuttles even when we had to rearrange, the owner once drove us to a place because it was raining so much, they offered tea when they noticed we had a cold, and the entire staff was incredibly nice. This is a great place to stay in Antigua!!

    Transport to hobbitenango really not apropiate ! Unsafe you will seat in the back of a pick up with no safety have to leave soon tomasegurate two seat in front of pick up if not you go on back with no safety regulations. Dont know how these can be acepted by autorities of guatemala

    This is a fun place for the whole family to visit.

    This is a fun place for the whole family to visit. Make sure to give yourself time to walk the grounds, play some mini-golf, and enjoy the views from the hammocks. And stay for the pizza, it looked AMAZING!

    Sylvia en Efrain are the most nice and helpful hosts we have ever met. They gave us tips where to eat, arranged the volcano hiking trip (much cheaper than online), arranged a coffee tour and a driver that took us to Hobbitenango.
