AustraliaOwner was exceptionally helpful. We didn’t have internet, stuck on a bus for 12hrs, arrived much later than we’re told. The town shuts down at 9pm, which we were not advised of previously. The owner was so helpful and understanding of us arriving late. He helped us organise a bus to visit Tikal for the next day. Our room was an excellent location and beautiful views. The room was very clean. Owner speaks very good English and is happily to help sort out any activities or provide advice on where to eat in the area.

NetherlandsThe hotel is beautifully designed and clean. It offers free coffee/tea, paddle boards, kayaks and has many different docks on which you can relax and enjoy the lake. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. We've read about it in many comments, but it is even better than you think while reading this! Miss the place already.

The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. The hotel arranged our airport pickup and dropoff as well as a private guide for the sunrise Tikal tour. The gentleman at the front desk was also the restaurant waiter. The setting is beautiful and the Hostal is located on the same premises with the hotel - you can use the same pool and restaurant. The Hostal has shared bathrooms and showers and they were always kept clean.
