Lovely building with great history. Upstairs is good if you are hungry but the stalls are all alike. Basically if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. Downstairs looked more appealing but I didn’t have much time here. Wish I had done downstairs first.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

In an upstairs restaurant, a young lady serving me slapped my hand when I pointed to the dish that I wanted because the signs in front didn't clearly indicate which dish was which. Magnificent market hall well worth visiting. Fantastic collection of fresh meats and vegetables if you are self-catering. Lots of chillies and paprika on sale as will as an assortment of overpriced souvenirs. Very little value to had in this location other than veg and meats. Great place to buy your souvenirs and to have lunch. On the ground floor you can find mostly food stalls with raw produce.
