10 +++ / AA +++ stay, Amazing fast check-in. Elevator. However many steps even with elevator/lift. Great WiFi. Parking directly in rear of property. Reading signs posted on the Self guided tour gave a great history of Kilkenny, the family, royal connections, and history of the local area. Beautiful architecture, period decor, furniture, paintings, sculpture etc. The gardens and childrens' playground was definitely worth the time to enjoy!

Location, location, location. Celtic house is a walk of only a few minutes from Kilkenny Castle . It’s a unique little place offering all the amenities required of a bnb . Would stay there again given the opportunity to visit that beautiful country.

Excellent breakfast. Hotel is in the city centre on a river canal and in part overlooking the Kilkenny Castle. We had booked a room weeks in advance asking for a room with a view but received a double room overlooking the carpark, which was disappointing. Very nice seating for drinks and snacks next to the river. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The location of this property was excellent. Easy walk to pubs, restaurants, shops and Kilkenny Castle. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic! Our room was spacious and clean. Appreciated the parking space behind the property. Gorgeous garden just behind the hotel.

The hotel is exceptionally well kept and in a perfect location and has its own parking area. The terrace overlooking the river and Kilkenny Castle is lovely, and it's an easy walk to the castle and the old medieval part of the city with pubs, restaurants and shops. Live music just across the street... well, everywhere really. The food service, especially breakfast, is fun and delightful. We were pleased to meet the 'lead from the front' general manager and tell him how much we appreciated the staff service and the hotel overall.

This property is located in the middle of everything! Grocery right across the street, coffee house right around corner, Kilkenny Castle an easy few minutes walk away. Property owner is very kind and provided as much information as we needed to make our time in Kilkenny remarkable. We will definitely look to stay here again if we make another trip to Ireland.

Loved the convenient, easy onsite parking. Hotel was a short walk to everything. Kilkenny castle is just around the corner. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Beds were comfy, good sized room. Bathroom had a good shower and bath. The staff were friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. They even tried to assist us in getting a last-minute dinner reservations on a Friday night. Eventually, not successful but they did make good recommendations and tried several restaurants but only late seatings so we went our own way.

This was our first stop in Ireland. Kilkenny is a great place, and the hotel is within walking distance to everything. Kilkenny Castle was just around the corner. We soon found out that we had brought the wrong kind of adaptor -- the desk was able to find us one to use and let us keep it for the rest of our trip. They also let us keep our car in the parking area after checkout time to tour the city. Breakfast was great.
