This was really an exceptional stay and it was better then I expected. The place is a renovated old Haveli building, which makes it very special to stay there. In the middle of the building is a courtyard that brings the light into the rooms. On one of the floors there is a nice nook with stain glasses that let through beautiful colors of light. That is where one can sip a cup of chai and/or read a book. On top floor there is a small restaurant where we had a very tasty breakfast. In the evening it is possible to have eat dinner or have a mocktail surrounded by the beautiful views of the city. The hotel organized for us a pick up from the hotel with a great driver. Since the hotel is located in narrow lanes not accessibile by the cars, they organized a auto-riksha to/from hotel to taxi. Everything in this city is a short walk distance from the hotel, so it is really easy to go around. All the staff was really above and beyond, they helped us in everything we needed and more :)

Parvat (the host) helped us with everything. He is such a kind person, always ready to solve all our problems and answer our questions. He didn't even charge us for dinner when one of us got sick, and he always offered his help. The location is central with many attractions at walking distance.

The location of the hotel is amazing! You take a boat with a beautiful view and come to the hotel. The way they are greeting you upon arrival is unforgettable! The rooms are so spacious and luxurious! There is a very beautiful swimming pool with a gorgeous view on the lake! I had an opportunity to do a massage in the hotel and it was one of the best deep oil massages in my life! I would recommend to go to Kimkimi for a strong good quality massage! It is very comfortable that each guest has his own butler who is available all the time. I was lucky to have such a wonderful smiling, professional butler Foustinus! She assisted with all my requests! I would definitely recommend everyone coming to this hotel when visiting Udaipur! And I was lucky as well to have a local professional guide Mitesh who showed me the city from insight, told me so many stories of how locals live, showed me a ceramic market and how locals do pottery! Big and beautiful rooms with an amazing location. The receptionist Jassu was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay and we would definitely come back. The breakfast was very nice as well, and it was served on the rooftop with a view of the lake.

    The property is one of the best homestays in Udaipur as it is right in the centre of the city.The rooms were really spacious and comfortable.We stayed here for three nights during monsoon and the stay was exceptional.The host guided us well and made us feel at home....Chetak Circle is the landmark however Fateh Sagar Lake is at the walking distance from the property....Poppy restore serves delicious food.... Don't miss it though

    The hosts rajshree and nagaditya were amazing , rooms fantastic,, breakfast was superb . Overall it was home away from home. Definitely a go to place. Rooms were big , washrooms neat and clean. They have a private terrace and a small library where one can spend a good time . Old city and other attractions are close by as this is located in city centre. Places like fateh sagar lake, sukhadiya centre are in close proximity. A must go place to stay. No restrictions.
