I have just spent the most amazing 24 hours at Island Tower Guesthouse. Coming from the other side of the world I was completely blown away with how the whole guesthouse was presented. I believe I had the privilege of being the first guest to stay in the newly decorated rooms. Each room is decorated completely differently in colour and paintings on the walls and ceilings. Just magical. The rooms are well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable . In the evening I went up to the rooftop restaurant which has the most amazing view over Lake Pichali. At dusk the sky is a mass of black as bats head to the countryside in search of food. The restaurant has a very relaxed inviting feel to it and one can enjoy tasty seasonal food cooked to your liking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was up at 5am the next morning to be taken on a scooter to feed the lime green parrots who inhabit areas around the lake. Stunning. If you are looking to have an amazing experience in Udaipur I recommend you spend time at this guesthouse

An excellent stay. Our room had a fantastic view across the lake. The hotel and rooms were clean and spacious. The artwork was amazing. The staff were exceptional - friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay very memorable.

We loved our stay at Little Peepal. We stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms and it’s been done very tastefully and was definitely the best bathroom we’ve had so far in India. Location was ideal (note that only tuktuks can get to this part of the city, not ubers) as it was central and peaceful. The roof terrace was delightful and the breakfast and dinners were delicious (the spinach crepe for breakfast was a highlight). The staff made our stay very comfortable and were helpful with booking onward trains and buses. Our favourite hotel so far in India - thank you for having us!

Excellent place in Udaipur!! It's a historical Haveli very well renovated with incredible ambience! The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean! They have and amazing terrace with views of the entire city and sunset. Everything is very well organized and the staff is very helpful and nice. Suraj was very nice and prompt to help. The breakfast is very good, you can choose between different options, like delicious pancakes, eggs, toasts, and different Indian and flavourful opcions! Good location, near city palace and other main attractions.

    This is completely overhyped. Do not go here.

    This is completely overhyped. Do not go here. Waste of time and money. The waiting time is terrible. Once at the top, there is nothing to do. The palace is empty. Spend time at city palace instead and use the money to get a guide’s services there which is worth it.
