FANTASTIC. Give yourself plenty of time.

FANTASTIC. Give yourself plenty of time. The trek to the top, which I recommend is fairly steep and a little long. But well worth it. Sights along the paths donw to the Pitti Palance are well worth seeing.

A fantastic way to spend the day!!

A fantastic way to spend the day!! I felt like a queen bee in garden of delights!! Statues, fountains, plenty of areas to sit and relax in the beauty!! Wow! Don't miss this!! Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring an umbrella to stay out of the sun.

    EUR 10 to get in.

EUR 10 to get in. The park is not maintained (other then cutting the grass). Fountains did not work, water in the ponds is murky and there were even dead birds in the water. 2 out of 3 entrances closed. Very disappointing.

The location was ideal as barely a block from Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens and eateries and sites such as Ponto Vecchio a 10 min walk. My quiet back room and staggering views of Douma and various other Belltowers and hills beyond were just what Id hoped for.Nice hot shower.Great Breakfast.

A wonderful hotel in a historic building with antique furniture and sculptures in the huge lobby. We were exciting that the room's windows overlooked the Boboli Gardens and even the Grotto of Adam and Eve.

The location was great - just South of the river with plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes in the vicinity. Boboli gardens is across the road and Pitti Palace a few minutes walk away. The grand old building has an amazing history with links to Annalena, the Medici, Napoleon and French royalty! Anna at reception was very attentive and gave us good advice and information about the area.

Terrific location. Near Santo spirito and pitti palace and boboli gardens- out of the way of most tourists. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Staying in a palazzo with high ceilings and opulent furnishings a great experience. Simple contintental cold breakfast in a large grand breakfast room. Friendly helpful staff. A small lift helpful as 4 flights of stairs to our room. So atmospheric. Would return.

It was close to everything but a bit of a walk from train station. It's good to bus there and back. You must go to Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens as it is so close and worth it. Good eating close by and a wine window :)
