Nice place, we rented 2 rooms, one single and one double. We arrived before opening dinner time hours and we were greeted with free appetisers and a glass of wine/ water at preference with a voucher we got. The view from the rooms to the sea gives you a moment of calmness that is especially felt in the morning. The place was clean and tidy. The restaurant was very good, we served fresh fish of the day and in the morning the breakfast had a wide selection of everything you wish for; Mihaela was particularly helpful and very nice, she even prepared candles on a cake because that day was my birthday. Nice touch;) The parking is in front of hotel. I would for sure return and we warmly recommend this place. The Miramare Castle is walking distance from the place or a couple of minutes by car.

Miramare Castle

Castello di Miramare cuts a romantic figure atop the cliffs of the Gulf of Trieste. Nestled in 54 acres of flourishing gardens, the castle was first commissioned in the 1800s by Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian. Stripped during World War I, it has since been restored to decadent 19th-century glory, with the room layout and original furniture arranged just as Maximilian intended.

    World-class gardens, incredible setting on the sea, nice cafe for cold drinks and light fare, the interior of the castle was authentic, detailed and full of history. It is well worth getting the audio guide for 4 euros!

    The accommodation is in a nice, quiet area, the view of the sea is wonderful. A big advantage is that you can park for free in the garden, because it is not easy in Trieste. The location is closer to the beaches and the Miramare Castle (that's why we chose it), it is worth going to the city center by car or public transport.

    We had Dahlia room which had a lovely sea view. Very comfortable bed and pillows, nice bathroom and appreciated the water, coffee etc that were replenished daily. The host was very kind and gave us plenty of information regarding the area and places to eat. The location is excellent as boats to Miramare Castle and Muggia are just across the road. Also very close to the town and restaurants.

    We loved our stay with Cosy Moods. They had all the comforts you need. We stayed in Scirrocco room with the view of the cathedral - wow. It was in a fabulous spot near the train station. It’s not far from all the main tourist hotspots, which are surrounded by restaurants. We hired electric bikes from down the end of the street, 150m away and rode down to the Miramare Castle, it was fabulous.

    Nice place close to Miramare Castle. Location is great - right in front of the sea, close to Miramare castle - and the atmosphere of the villa is worth the "sacrifice" of staying out of the city center. Excellent breakfast served by a very nice and professional lady. Nice garden and romantic restaurant terrace with tasty food.

    The hotel is definitely recommendable, situated by the sea front therefore room with balcony had a lovely view, parking available, a free aperitif on arrival which is a nice gesture. Breakfast was plentiful. It’s within good walking distance to the Miramare Castle and just a short drive into Triest center.

    Beautiful newly renovated appartment in wonderful Trieste. Great location near the canal for restaurants and Central to many shops, transport and walking distance to the port to embark our cruise ship. Bed and lounge comfortable, had lift access and building very secure. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry modern with all you need for a great stay. We had a wonderful 4 night vacation and visiting Miramare Castle an absolute highlight. Evelina was fabulous and answered our questions promptly. Many Thanks

    Good location for a short stay. Easy walk to centre of Trieste, and train/bus station. Bus nearby to Miramare castle and a lovely walk along seafront back. Good communication through app and what's app meant we could arrange to leave our bags before room was ready.
