A REALLY busy Piazza as its at the crossroads to several shopping streets. DO TRY La Prosciutteria, it sells simply the best focaccia and prosciutto ham around...as well as beef if you wish, OR veggie cheese platters. Our room also had a cute balcony. Quiet in spite of being right next to Piazza Erbe, which was very busy. We never saw the staff but they contacted us via WhatsApp. The only downside is the narrow stairs and no elevator. It can be tricky if you have big suitcases. The Roman Arena is stunning.
The Roman Arena is stunning. The Castelvecchio is a wonderful building whether you like the art in it or not. Climbing the Torre dei Lamberti in Piazza delle Erbe was fun and gave great views of the city.
