Big comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Also the location is very quiet.
Secured parking is right next to the property for €10 / day.
Train station is less than 10 min away with comfortable access to Napoli Central station.
Of you travel by car, the location is convenient to go both to Napoli and Pompei - easy access to Highway without traffic.
Host is very helpful, always stays in touch and gave clear instructions on self check-in!

United KingdomThe included breakfast was superb, not far from central Naples on the metro! The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the local station. Quiet little town but very easy access to Naples, Pompei and Serranto. Very friendly staff and excellent facilities. Air con!!! I had to get to the airport the next day and it was a simple metro ride and then the airport bus.

AustraliaHotel Marad was phenomenal!! As single traveller's in a family/couples environment there was nothing we could want more. The staff, particularly David and Sonia were incredible, patient, informative and friendly. The restuarant, bar, kitchen and roof top staff were also amazing. This place is just incredible. Everything you could want yet also close to everything else you might like to see. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Yes go and explore : So interesting ! A thing (or more) to observe and understand in every houses concerning life of ancient time, lava devastation or architecture. 3 hours are quite good to go all-around. An audio guide gives you many great informations. More acceptable for older travellers who might be overwhelmed by the scale of pompei, and really, how many old ruins can one digest in a trip before they all merge into one? I know some tour operators will offer you ercolano, pompei and vesuvius in one day. Not recommended ! At least a day for each I think . This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover.
This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover. If you are into Roman history, dedicate 3 hours to see the place. We took an audio guide and it was a good experience.
