Comfortable, close to train station, clean with good service

This is the best 4 star hotel that we have ever stayed in. The room (and adjoining bathroom) was extremely spacious and clean, and the mattress though a bit hard, was very comfortable. The service and attention to our needs was outstanding, and what made staying here a really great experience. As an example, both of us have a very severe gluten intolerance. The hotel offered us many gluten-free options for breakfast, as well as a good variety of buffet options that were naturally gluten free. We also really liked the food at the on-site restaurant, and ate dinner there twice. The hotel also offers many different kinds of public transport tickets to purchase at the reception, as well as advice on how to best get to your intended destination. They will also call taxis for you, and have a wonderful airport taxi pick-up service they can arrange upon request for your arrival. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our experience and will definitely come back if we ever find ourselves in Venice again!

Breakfast was complete, delicious and coffee was delicious. Host attention for extra coffee or anything was really great.

The Hotel Venezia was a great location that put us in easy walking distance of the center of Mestre with lots of food options and shopping. It is perhaps a 15 to 20 minute walk to the train station but the hotel is a very short walk from a tram stop which can also take you to the train station. Tram tickets were available at the hotel reception desk The breakfast was excellent and the eating area included a small garden area. The reception staff was excellent in providing helpful information on the local area and providing transportation options for Venice and the airport. I would certainly stay here again.
