Beautiful and peaceful place. Clean, comfortable, specious rooms. The views are breathtaking there. Spent lot of time by the swimming pool which was in September not crowded and great for swimming and sun bathing. The beach is just 5-8 minutes to walk - its amazing sandy beach with clear water, wonderful for both swimming and relaxing. The hotel staff is nice, very accommodating, helpfull, eager to come with good suggestions what to do at Ischia and helping to arrange whatever you need. Very good breakfast! Loved the place and hope to return back!

The property was so beautiful with plants and greens all around. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Made our check in a delight. We even got an upgrade. We left our overnight bags at the hotel after check out and got to use the facility till 5.00pm. There’s a lovely restaurant on sight which we had breakfast and dinner. Bus stop right out front of the hotel. It was perfect. The pools was warm In and out.

The waterfront was so lovely and even had a thermal spring of their own. The spa was lovely. The staff were very friendly and offered excellent recommendations. The place was very clean. The breakfast had great options. The bus was right outside the door. One tip for the bus service is to go to the Tabachi store and buy multiple tickets at the beginning of your stay- you can then validate them on the bus as needed. The bus is crowded and they run out of tickets. Hope to be back next year.

When choosing a place for a great holiday, aside from the mandatory “clean/quiet/organized/unpretentious/hot-water-does-not-run-out”, we have a checklist that helps: 1) small and family run, 2) has a garden and an uncrowded pool, 3) close to the sea, but away from the main street, 4) walking distance to the nearest town, 5) good food inside or close-by. This place checks all the boxes!!! If you are anything like us, you will enjoy it greatly. When we booked, there were not many reviews - and this boutique hotel bested our expectations. The owners Paola and Dario make you feel at home, as does the main waiter in the restaurant, Pino. Most recommended! The location: you are in a garden just above the sea, 100 m walk from a little beach, away from the main road. It is also a 10-15 min seaside walk to the cozy Forio - or 3 min walk to the bus stop that takes you to anywhere on the island. (Note that if you are coming from Napoli, you can take the ferry directly to Forio. Dario was very kind - he picked us up at the ferry. You really do not need a car in Ischia.) The hotel looks better in reality than in the photos. There are two pools: one regular large pool, one thermal hot water. The pool area is separated from the hotel by a garden and the dining terrace, so you do not hear the pool sounds in the rooms. The room was renovated and clean. Airconditioning is quiet and works well. The restaurant: The breakfast and lunch is served on the garden terrrace, the dinner is in a downstairs hall. We had two lunches and a dinner during our stay, all of which were really delicious and ample. For us, the food bested all other restaurants in Ischia.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are great, the view is magnificent, especially the sunsets. The pool is very beautiful, garden is really nice. The parmigiana di melanzane that is made with produce from their garden is fantastic, it is made by Francesco and Alessandro’s mother. Special thanks to Andrea, who makes every morning better. Many thanks also to Claudia and Louis, I enjoyed our conversations. Last but not least, thank you to Francesco for all the great recommendations, what to visit, where to eat and so on. I wish you all the best and hope to come again next year. Salute!

    Great park with many thermal pools with different...

    Great park with many thermal pools with different temperatures. Start from the top and walk your way down. The black whole (il buco nero) although very interesting as a concept, is a bit too dirty (water stagnating) and by th time your eyes get used to it, it’s better to get out :) Wear a dark color swimming suit, as the thermal water tends to leave spots on lighter colors. The restaurant is very nice, a bit upscale with prices which remind me Switzerland :)

    What a thrill! So much to see and do.

    What a thrill! So much to see and do. Fantastic pools /spa baths /hot /ice cold /steamy all so very good for one’s health! Do them ALL! Wonderful walk around the entire park it’s pretty large spend an entire day there taking it all in! Great restaurants up on the hill ( not near the sea) colourful great outdoor seating.

    Really fun! Dropped off by bus for the short walk in. Really unique place with artistic thermal pools and fountains climbing up the hill. I believe that it was about 25-30 euros for the day. The top cave is really something to experience.

    Great location. Ten minutes on foot to the beach and fifteen to Negombo Thermal Park. Fully equipped kitchen. Generouce welcome busket. Huge terrace with a stunning view on El Pomeo. Hosts, senior Francesco and his mother have been welcoming and helpful all time. Recommend!

    We chose this apartment because it was close to the Negombo thermal park. Unfortunately the bus stop was quite far to find. Lacco Ameno itself is small and cute. The apartment was spacious and had everything you needed.
