Shaped more like a massive ellipse than a square, it’s easy to see that Prato della Valle was built on the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre. The grassy island in the centre provides a much-beloved green space for Paduans and visitors alike, and on Saturdays there is a lovely market. On any day of the week, the park makes for a wonderful afternoon of relaxing.

It was a big room for a family of 4 in a very old but nicely renovated Building. The bathroom was spacious with blue-green granite and a big shower. There was also a small kitchen area with microwave, tea boiler, and coffee machine next to the big windows.
