I absolutely loved my stay at the 1899 Hotel in Tokyo—this was my third time staying here, and it continues to impress me every visit. The service is exceptional, with the staff making sure you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself is extremely modern, with a minimalist and aesthetically pleasing design that creates such a calming and sophisticated atmosphere. One of my favorite touches is the complimentary tea service during check-in. You can enjoy a delicious matcha accompanied by wagashi (Japanese sweets) to start your stay on the perfect note—it’s such a thoughtful and unique experience. During my stay, I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered decent options and added to the overall value of the stay. Another highlight was the green tea-scented amenities, including shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion. Not only did they smell amazing, but they’re also available for purchase at the hotel—a great way to bring a piece of the experience home with you. The location is also very convenient. While “central” in Tokyo is relative, it’s well connected by public transport, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, 1899 Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Tokyo, blending modern design, thoughtful service, and little luxuries that make it stand out. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back again!

The apartment is located a short walk to shops and Akasaka Station. It’s comfortable and nicely laid out for our family of four. The beds were the most comfortable out of the four places we stayed during our trip.

The location is great as it close to Akasaka station. The facilities are clean and the staff are nice. Thank you so much for Ms. Suzuki for helping me that day with my phone issue in Tokyo. It’s totally a good place to stay for solo travel in Tokyo!
