Walk around Yubatake.
Walk around Yubatake. The lower portion of it there is a waterfall. Make sure to walk it at night if you are not to tired. We were tired, but we walked around it at night and we are glad we did. The light reflecting off of it makes it so beautiful!Guest review byThomasUnited States - 10.0
Nice unique little town with many to see including wildlife.
Nice unique little town with many to see including wildlife. The people of Kusatsu are very friendly and helpful. Recommend to bring a face mask/cover in case the smell from the water is too strong when visiting the Yubatake. Good for 2D1N trip.Guest review byLimSingapore

Great hospitality, polite and helpful staffs, amazing view from our room and outside, good location. The has shuttle bus for guests who are going to Yubatake or the central. We had a huge room. It’s a bit of a walk (15 minutes) outside of the town center, so it’s nice and quiet and away from the strong sulphur smell from the Yubatake. There is a shuttle to town if needed, but the walk is nice and safe. Onsen facility in the hotel was clean, with an indoor and outdoor bath. Staff were very friendly and communicated well even though they don’t speak English and my Japanese is not very strong. Thanks for a lovely stay!Guest review byCarliLebanon
