The temple is very beautiful; the pirate ships are remarkably kitsch. Don't linger till late if you plan on getting the bus back - the queues were substantial, and the prolonged wait required till after dark to finally get conveyed to Hakone-Yumoto station was bordering on a hypothermic episode. We stayed in a Japanese Style room which was a great experience. The view from our room to Mt Fuji was simply spectacular. We enjoyed the Onsen which again had great views of Mt Fuji.
