We picked the hotel due to its localization, because it is close to famous bamboo forest and to make crowdless photos you need to get up very early, so we decided to choose hotel close to the forest. It was supposed to be only a bedroom for us, but it came out as a really comfortable and clean hotel with very friendly personel. Also the bathroom was big, clean and to be honest, the best we found in our trip to Japan. I can recomment it to everyone staying in Kyoto

Kayo Hotel is a lovely place. Sparkling clean, silent and with very cute rooms. Futon was very comfortable. I didnt get to see staff but they reacted quickly to all my messages.
