The description of the room (Superior Twin Room-Non-Smoking, 28 sq meters) is spot on. I appreciate that the hotel staff put some posters of recent Nagoya events in front of the elevators. The breakfast buffet is exceptional-the best I have had in Japan. The room is spacious, comfortably fitted two adults and two kids. The staff members are friendly. I asked for a shower cap at the front desk and the staff insisted on sending the shower cap to my room directly. The hotel location is perfect-just a few minutes taxi ride from the Nagoya station. Easy access to JR Nagoya Station and Nagoya Castle. Self checkin was easy and no fuss, while there were baggage ports for folks who arrived early. You won’t see robot dinosaur concierges here, but to me that was a plus. Plus the Uni Mall connects all the way to Nagoya station, super convenient to catch the train and shinkansen. The hotel is also very new, of great quality, though the room is a little small which is typical in Japan. The breakfast has plenty of choices. The rooms are (Japanese style) (very) small, but for a short stay in Nagoya perfect. Very comfortable, everything there. Restaurant and shops, convenient stores everywhere. You go here to see Nagoya and move on. Like we did; Shinkansen, sleep here, see the castle (really nice) and more and back on the train. Because it is so close to the station you can leave your lugage here, no need for lockers. Conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from Nagoya station. The room was small as commonly expected of most Japanese accommodation, but it was sufficient for a couple and young child. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The hotel also offers breakfast valued at 700yen, which was an excellent deal for the breakfast items on offer, and free amenities such as toiletries and pyjamas for its guests.
