United KingdomWe had an amazing stay! The staff’s 5-star service made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, and the hotel’s authentic Japanese atmosphere was truly special.
The onsen was a fantastic experience, perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent—right next to Nara Park, just a 10-minute walk to the station, and surrounded by great food and shops. A huge thank you to the staff for their honesty—we accidentally left an iPad in the room, and they quickly found it for us.
Everything about this hotel was exceptional. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and convenience—highly recommended! We wish to come back next time with our parents.

You might want to go to Himuro Shrine (氷室神社) for a quieter location to admire the cherry blossoms (during spring) and to feed the deer with less competition from other tourists! Is very busy and packed with tourists in peak season. The deer closer the entrance are very aggressive so will charge you and bite your clothes to get biscuits. Go further up the park to get some peace and quiet and meet calmer deer. Also, some tourists will feed wrappers and ice cream to the deer thinking it is funny. We woke up to sights of deer wandering right in the vicinity outside the hotel. The staff here were particularly lovely and we experienced safe to say the best service of our whole trip to Japan at this hotel. The dinner and breakfast were extremely tasty and though there wasn't any washing facilities on the premises the hotel staff were very helpful in recommending a coin laundry store very close to the hotel.
