Great room, all staff fluent in English, friendly and helpful

Incredible experience from start to finish. I only stayed one night, but I felt immediately at home and could not have been happier. The private, in-room onsen was the highlight of the room without question. Such a wonderful way to unwind and I spent hours in there. They keep the onsen very hot, hotter than most I've been to, but it's easy to add cold water to cool it down and if you go too far, a call to the front desk will have hot water piping back in. I enjoyed soaking while watching the snow fall through the open window - and was very comfortable! The room was extremely spacious with sliding partitions for each area, so if traveling with a partner or family, it would be easy to create privacy when needed. In-room amenities were great. Nice lotions, soaps, etc. Lighting in the room was very nice - I believe about 6 different settings you can choose from to create the mood you're looking for. The meals were absolutely top notch and unforgettable, both the dinner and breakfast. I can't say enough good things but the food surpassed all my expectations. Simply lovely. Checking in and out was very smooth and simple. It was easy to catch a taxi from directly outside Tobu Nikko station and when it was time to leave, the staff called a taxi for me.

Excelent location, innfront of the JR station, couple of minutes from the other station. Very friendly staff. near center of town, next to the bus stop.

The hotel is 5 minutes' walk from the train station. Staff are helpful and friendly. Wifi works well. I specially like the fact that the hotel offers a variety of self-served drinks in the lobby, which definitely helps after a warm daytime walk outside as well as a cold evening walk outside.

Room was very small, but sufficient. Complimentary onsen, very good breakfast, inexpensive, good wifi, washing machines, lockers even for bigger backpacks.

Staff were very friendly Breakfast was very nice and great Dinner options also. Room was comfy with a nice size onsen and shower on the balcony. Lovely old Isuzu car as you walk into the building.
