    Great area.

    Great area. If you got to the castle complex, as you are looking at the castle, there is a path off to the left that has an amazing view and was the best spot there I found for good pictures without the crowds.

    If you can get tickets ahead of time, do so. the ticket line was longer than the line to get in. Also, take the stairs not the elevator, if you can (much longer line at the elevator). You can rest on each floor if you cannot do all 8 stories at once.

    The wait line was very long,possible more than an hour wait, we ened up booking tickets on Klook App whilst there and used QR code tickets line ....skiped the long line and went straight in 😁 also theire was a lift to the top if you can't manage all the steps.

    It's quite a walk from the station to the actual castle but...

    It's quite a walk from the station to the actual castle but seeing it up close is really cool. I know it's a reconstruction but it's just amazing seeing that traditional architecture and getting to walk around the castle grounds. I didn't have a lot of time to do any particular tours but I think I would want to visit again with a tour guide to check it out in more depth.

    Incredible! So much information and history. Descriptions of exhibits were well written and interesting. And the reenactment videos was super cool! When you enter the castle, before you go up the elevator, the staff informs everyone that no photos are to be taken on certain floors (3F & 4F). There are signs everywhere that say no photos, and also a staff member walking around the designated area with a sign that says “no photos.” Unfortunately, many people were still taking pictures in the “no photo” areas, which was very rude & inconsiderate. Be respectful & don’t be those people.

    We loved our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle. The view of Osaka Castle was stunning! The room was a good size with a super comfy king bed. I liked the Crabtree & Evelyn bathroom products. We enjoyed a wine in the bar looking at the castle. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

    Quiet location in middle of the all atractions available by walk (max 20 mnts to Osaka Castle, 10 mnts to Shin Sai Bashi-Suji, same to Dotombori). Not far away from Nagahoribashi Station (walk 5 mnts.) Very friendly staff, always trying to help with my solo 1st time traveller to Japan. Outstanding was UKI (don't have his full name) speaking and understanding english well, helped a lot with next hotel booking.

    The room was big and comfortable. They had a free shuttle going to and from Osaka Station every 15 minutes. The hotel is situated at Nakanoshima station which is convenient if you are going to Osaka Castle.

    The location is near Osaka castle and subway. The male staff in front reception at night are very good. There's a problem with our room. They cooperatedly help to change a larger room for us. We like their smile and politeness and activenss. I will give them excelent points. The breakfast is good and breakfast time open until 11:00 am. The coffee and milk tea in the cafe is tasty during our five-days trip. The larger room is good for a family or friends' trip, as well.

    This location was great for not being too far from anything and walking distance to the osaka castle route, easy to catch metro into dontonburi centre etc. staff was easy to communicate with online and left us souvenir magnet. Would stay again for sure.

    Very comfortable rooms and a great breakfast buffet with food for all tastes. Restaurant on top floor (for breakfast) was lovely. Close to the metro station and the beautiful Osaka castle and park. Lovely swimming pool (but some negatives). We had a room with a city view and wow, what a view. It's definitely worth paying a little extra for that. Hotel lobby area with small shopping mall very flash.

    Our host was very friendly and highly communicative, making check-in and our entire stay smooth and pleasant. The apartment had everything we needed, plus a balcony, which was perfect for doing laundry. It’s in a great location! Close to public transportation and within walking distance of Osaka Castle. The beds were comfortable, and all the essential amenities were provided, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.
