Location was fantastic. Right beside the train station and literally on top of a family mart. But even better is the quality of the facilities and the room itself. Bunk beds which the kids loved and comfortable linen and pillows for all. A small table and seats make it easy to have meals in the room. We didn't cook anything in the room, but very much possible to do so. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Helped us ship our luggage to Kyoto, even filling the form for us.

Our apartment was clean, comfortable and reasonably sized for Tokyo. The kitchen area has a double induction hotplate unit , a microwave and an oven/grill. There was a washing machine with supplied (and replaced) detergent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Asakusa is a quiet part of Tokyo. Twenty minutes walk from Ueno Station and Ueno Park and Zoo (pandas!). About the same distance to the underground. We also walked to the Skytree. I would recommend this apartment hotel and would happily stay there again.

Very stylish, yet moderate. Amazing location - really loved the quiet neighborhood. The staff was helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. They even gave us a map with suggestions: places for different types of food, tourist attractions. Must visit cafe on the ground floor. We had an amazing matcha and delicious Sakura cupcakes.

Asakusa is very commercialized, so be very careful about the food stalls and how much you spend. Many items can be found cheaper at a Donki. I still recommend going to experience the spirituality of Senso-ji.

I liked this temple and surrounding garden and shrines a lot. We came back twice, as we wanted to experience the atmosphere during the evening as well. Just like everything in Japan, it can be extremely crowded during the day, I am talking about masses and masses of tourists but if you get up super early, you can beat the crowds.

Absolutely overrun by tourists during the day, even off-season. If you're really interested in this place, please make sure to learn about local customs, keep in mind that this is a place of worship, and then come here in the early morning to see what it can be like. Don't be a dick. Respect that people actually come here for praying, and try not to shove your phone into their faces as they do.

Give yourself time to explore the market and shops nearby. Take an opportunity to stay in the Temple complex and soak up the culture, so many visitors are in there traditional Kimonos and formal wear as this is a 'working' temple, so beautiful.

Asakusa, where the Sensoji Temple is located, is one of our favourite areas to explore. Kappabashi Street, is a colourful street of beautiful kitchen knives, bowls, tea & sake cups, kitchen goods, and more. Beyond the main roads, its feels very livable and comfortable, with small local shops to discover.

The oldest temple in Japan I read (or maybe the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan). A beautiful temple complex and one of the prime sights of Tokyo. I was lucky enough to be staying a couple of minutes walk away, so walked through it or past it every day of my stay.

This hotel has the best view. I really got my room showing this skytree view n the river. Walking distance to few stations. Connecting easily to ueno, Shinjuku, shibuya, ahkhihabara n we even went to mount fiji. Easy access. Staff super friendly and we arrived early. So we can self managed store our luggage provided at lobby n go walk around. Near sensoji temple. Just need a good shoes. Overall greatt hotel. Will come back again.

I love this hotel. One of the best I have stayed in. The room was spacious! The locations is so great. Walking distance to everything. Very close to the Sensoji Temple, nakamise dori shopping st and don quijote. The hotel is very clean. They have a laundry in some floors that you can use, the reception was happy to change bills to coins. They have free tea and snacks from 3 pm to 9 pm everyday. I have used their mini gym only for treadmill. I cannot wait to stay again next time I am in Japan.

Couldn't have asked for a better start to our trip. Staff were so attentative and caring. The ryokan was absolutely stunning with so many details and beautiful rooms. The position was spot on in Asakusa. Recommendations to fellow guests - don't miss the rooftop garden at night (it has the best view of skytree), don't forget the public baths on the top floor (me and my partner were in it every night and morning -one bath overlooks sensoji temple pagoda, one skytree), and lastly - get a japanese style room 👌

The hotel looks new and well-maintained. The location of the hotel is also very convenient as it is near multiple restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and the Sensoji Temple. For the price point, I think it is very worth it compared to other accommodations offered in other areas, such as Shinjuku.
